Included with the Passport +Museum of Art ticket or $10 at the door.

Startup Tucson, The Desert Angels and Tucson Young Professionals join forces for an ultimate networking event that will a little artsy and little bit cowboy and a whole lot of fun! Here’s the story behind the story: The Old West will meet the New West on October 24, 2015 in an art exhibition so wild and exploding with rawhide, smoking Colt 45s, and desert heat, that it took the Tucson Museum of Art to rein it in. For the first time ever, Wild West artwork from comic books, pulp fiction novels, dime novels, and magazine and book illustrations will have its own exhibition, curated by the Tucson Museum of Art Glasser Curator of Art of the American West, Christine Brindza. Western Heroes of Pulp Fiction: Dime Novel to Pop Culture will provide a survey of works from 1920 to Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and Bill Schenck, exploring how images of the Wild West have built and reinforced American legends. https://www.tucsonmuseumofart.org
